Kinship, Genealogy, Objectivity, and Ethnocentrism

This describes the factual and epistemological mistakes leading to collapse of anthropological interest in scientific analysis kinship social organization 1980s, their persistence present, alternative that avoids them. The basic argument is while was a challenging topic, reason for studies response David Schneider's criticism 1987 had did not reflect those inherent problems.  They reflected self-contradictions counter-factual assumptions conceptions science, meaning, objectivity approaches were taken it, both by Schneider criticised himself.The paper details steps which errors accumuluted this particular line argument.  It does so part contrasting with my own approach avoided them, knew about but evidently understand.
